Kerby's Nursery & The Kerby's Houseplant Shop - social media manager
Manage all four social media accounts for Kerby's Nursery and its houseplant shop. Within a year, I increased the Instagram presence of the Nursery by 62 percent and the Houseplant Shop's presence by 266 percent, making that account "Influencer" status. Additionally, I manage giveaways, assist with promoting events, capture content for our website, and create training videos for our staff and seminars for customers.

Went from editorial intern, contributing editor, associate editor and finally editor where I managed three publications simultaneously, oversaw the internship program and ran the website. Additionally, I interviewed sources, wrote stories, edited content and upheld client relationships to keep the publications on track.

Ohio State, ECE - student writer
Interviewed alumni, faculty and students from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering to write profiles. Compiled stories into a template using InDesign for a weekly newsletter. Attended ECE events to capture photos and quotes.
